Most countries have a list of items they will not allow to enter into their country. The reasons for this can be religious, economic, political and so forth. On top of that DHL also has restrictions on things they will ship in order to limit their liabilities and ensure the safety of their employees. DHL has two lists with different items and different rules.
Prohibited items are ones DHL will not accept in any form. Restricted commodities require prior approval from DHL before they will ship them. Please see the lists below and contact our office at customerservice@preferredship.com or at 800-827-7987 with any questions you may have and we’ll do everything we can to help you out.
